Is home buying taking longer?  Recently CNBC had an article on this exact topic which caught my attention and I thought I would share my thoughts on this.  Now the article is targeted at a national audience so I thought I would share my thoughts from the local Dallas Fort Worth & North Texas market in general.

The truth is yes for many buyers it is taking longer, however as a local expert Realtor® I can show you ways to bring down the time you will find a home.  It starts with proper expectations, showing my client's the market they are looking in so they are prepared when they hit the market.  Many agents don't prepare their clients and as a result things take a lot longer.
